  • What is a Running Analysis?

A physical therapy running analysis, also known as a running gait analysis, is a comprehensive evaluation of a runner's mechanics and technique. It helps identify areas where improvements can be made to reduce injury risk and enhance performance. The analysis involves assessing factors like stride length, foot strike, body posture, and muscle engagement during running.

Real Stories, Real Results

“My body is immeasurably enhanced“
"I've seen Sarah multiple times for multiple injuries and my expectations have always been exceeded with the thorough evaluations and challenging exercises that provide a path to recovery for whatever issue I've been faced with. I wish I could give her six stars. Sarah takes the time to connect with me and my goals. I am no Olympian, but she treats me like one. Sarah listens carefully, entertains questions, and ultimately comes up with a plan to help me move through the world gracefully. One of the greatest things about Sarah is her humility. If she doesn’t know something, she researches it and gets back to me. My knee, my back and my body are immeasurably enhanced by this remarkable and gifted woman. Thanks Sarah!"

“Came Back Stronger“
"Sarah Paxson is an excellent PT. She has helped so much in identifying issues, looking deeply and intelligently into the whole body and strategizing a plan to help my body recover and move again. I have worked with her over many years on 3 different issues and each time I came back to my beloved activities stronger and more confident. Can't say enough good things about Sarah; her awesome energy, brilliance and intuitive sense of care."

Char W.

“Significantly Eased My Pain“
"Sarah was extremely comprehensive and thorough. I felt that she really listened to me and took the time to ask questions in order to gain a better understanding of my body and my injury. She ensured that I understood her feedback and gave me exercises that have already, a few weeks after my evaluation, significantly eased my pain. I left my session with Sarah feeling that I was in good hands and that I had a better understanding of my injury and the patterns that may have contributed to its development. Overall, I cannot recommend Sarah highly enough!"

Leah J.

“Worked to get to the root of the issue“
"Sarah and Jennifer are amazing PT's! I've had a chronic injury for over a decade and have tried all forms of therapy to try and resolve it. After just a few sessions, Jennifer helped make significant improvements in my pain level. I finally feel like I've found someone who actually listened and worked to get to the root of the issue, not just the immediate glaring problem. I cannot recommend these women enough!"
